  • HOW WE MANUFACTURE COPPER BUSBARS

    1

    Material Selection

    Strictly following customer requirements and international standards, we select high-quality electrolytic copper or copper alloys as raw materials to ensure superior conductivity and mechanical properties from the source.

    Pre-Treatment

    The chosen copper materials undergo surface cleaning and treatment to remove oxidation layers, oil stains, and other impurities, providing clean billets for subsequent processing.

    Sampling and Testing

    After pre-treatment, samples are sent to the laboratory for spectral chemical analysis to ensure the raw material composition fully complies with standard requirements.

    Drawing/Rolling Preparation

    Through drawing or rolling equipment, the copper billets are initially shaped and elongated to achieve dimensions and forms suitable for further rolling.

    Heating and Multi-Pass Rolling

    The copper material is heated to an optimal plastic-forming temperature in a controlled atmosphere, then continuously rolled through multiple passes via a hot rolling mill. This process gradually reduces the material to the target thickness and width while refining the grain structure.

    Cooling and Annealing

    The rolled busbars undergo controlled cooling, followed by recrystallization annealing to relieve internal stresses, reduce hardness, and improve material toughness and conductivity.

    End-Cropping

    Specialized equipment is used to remove unevenly deformed or non-compliant ends after rolling and annealing, ensuring consistent quality across the entire busbar length.

    Machining

    Based on design drawings, precision cutting, drilling, bending, welding, and other finishing operations are performed using machining centers and CNC lathes to meet final installation and connection requirements.

    Finishing

    The processed busbars are straightened, deburred, and surface-cleaned to achieve a neat appearance and precise dimensions.

    Physical and Chemical Inspection

    This critical quality control step involves using tensile testers, conductivity meters, hardness testers, and other equipment to conduct final inspections of mechanical properties, conductivity, and chemical composition, ensuring 100% compliance.

    Packaging

    Qualified products are protected against oxidation and scratches, securely bundled with customized packaging materials, and clearly labeled to ensure safe transportation.

    Warehousing

    The packaged finished products are transferred to the finished goods warehouse for systematic storage management, awaiting shipment.

    Dispatch

    Products are loaded according to schedule and delivered safely and punctually to customers, completing the entire process from raw materials to finished goods.

    Copper Busbars

    Aluminum Busbars

    Large aluminum busbars serve as core conductive elements in power transmission systems for the chemical industry, specifically designed for high-current, continuous operation, and corrosive environments. Made from high-purity aluminum, these busbars are lightweight, offer excellent conductivity, and exhibit strong corrosion resistance, effectively reducing the overall load on equipment.     Busbar Clamps

    Large copper busbar clamps are key components in the power systems of the chemical industry, used for securing and connecting copper busbars. They are specifically engineered for high-current, long-term continuous operation, and corrosive environments. Manufactured from high-strength copper alloys or copper-plated steel, these clamps feature a sturdy structure and wear resistance. They ensure firm fixation and reliable conductivity through bolting or mechanical clamping mechanisms. Whether applied in electrolytic cells, chemical reaction equipment, or large-scale power distribution systems, large copper busbar clamps maintain stable and safe busbar operation, preventing loosening or poor contact. They are essential for ensuring the reliability of power transmission systems in chemical enterprises.

  • CAST STUDIES

    Westlake Chemical, USA

    In April 2012, we successfully delivered a large-scale electrolyzer supporting project for Westlake Chemical in the United States. The project utilized membrane electrolyzers of the ThyssenKrupp Uhde Chlorine Engineers (CEC) cell type, for which we provided a complete power transmission solution. This included 108 tons of copper busbars, 774 flexible cables, and 121 sets of busbar clamps (including copper busbar fixtures).

    Through precision design, custom machining, and strict quality control, all busbars, clamps, and cables perfectly matched the electrolyzer structure. This ensured the system's safety and stability under conditions of high current, continuous long-term operation, and chemical corrosion exposure. The project not only demonstrated our professional capability in supporting large-scale chemical power systems but also highlighted our comprehensive strength in providing highly reliable and efficient electrical solutions for our clients.

    EuroChem, Russia

    In December 2014, we successfully delivered an electrolyzer supporting project for EuroChem (European Chemical Company) in Russia. The project utilized membrane electrolyzers supplied by Blue Star (Beijing) Chemical Machinery Co., Ltd., for which we provided a complete power transmission solution including 31 tons of copper busbars, 160 flexible cables, and 214 sets of busbar clamps (including copper busbar fixtures).

    Through customized design and precision machining, all busbars, clamps, and cables were perfectly matched with the electrolyzers, ensuring system stability and reliability under high-current, continuous long-term operation in corrosive chemical environments. The successful implementation of this project fully demonstrates our professional capabilities in supporting large-scale chemical power systems and our ability to provide highly reliable and efficient solutions for clients.

    Case Study: BorsodChem (BC), Hungary

    In April 2017, we successfully completed an electrolyzer supporting project for the BorsodChem chemical plant in Hungary. The project utilized Asahi Kasei ion-exchange membrane electrolyzers, for which we provided a complete power transmission solution including 40 tons of copper busbars, 320 flexible cables, and 94 sets of busbar clamps (including copper busbar fixtures).

    Through precision design and customized processing, all busbars, clamps, and cables were perfectly integrated with the electrolyzer structure, ensuring stable and safe operation of the system under high-current, long-term continuous operation in chemically corrosive environments. The successful delivery of this project demonstrates our professional capabilities in supporting large-scale chemical power systems and our ability to provide highly reliable and efficient power solutions for clients.
